HOW RATE THE PLATE WORKS
- Members of the public witness incidents related to driving and road safety and report them to Rate the PLATE as Ratings.
- These Ratings are displayed publicly, to raise awareness of the incident, until the registered owner of the Rated vehicle joins the community and takes responsibility for their PLATE.
- Registered members and organisations are notified if their vehicle(s) are Rated. These Ratings are not displayed to the public as the vehicle owner is taking responsibility.
- The "Rater" and "Ratee" are now connected via Rate the PLATE and able to communicate in a non-violent and non-threatening manner.
- Incidents can then be safely discussed and resolved between both parties with comments and contributions made from the Rate the PLATE community.
