HOW RATE THE PLATE WORKS

1. Members of the public witness incidents related to driving and road safety and report them to Rate the PLATE as Ratings.
2. These Ratings are displayed publicly, to raise awareness of the incident, until the registered owner of the Rated vehicle joins the community and takes responsibility for their PLATE.
3. Registered members and organisations are notified if their vehicle(s) are Rated. These Ratings are not displayed to the public as the vehicle owner is taking responsibility.
4. The "Rater" and "Ratee" are now connected via Rate the PLATE and able to communicate in a non-violent and non-threatening manner.
5. Incidents can then be safely discussed and resolved between both parties with comments and contributions made from the Rate the PLATE community.
